Surrounded by greenery, between the Maiella mountains, San Liberatore a Maiella is an abbey in the territory of Serramonacesca, in the province of Pescara, region of Abruzzo, Italy. The 9th century building was first rebuilt starting in 1007, then restored in 1967-1971.
